I'm interested in finding detailed (not high-level) requirements for digital preservation systems and tools. Are there any available online?

Are you asking for system requirements for installation or functional requirements for a tool claiming to accomplish a task?

I'm not sure there is such a place that aggragates this kind of information. The things that come most close are probably the following.

  1. COPTR. Which is intended as "an initiative to collate the knowledge of the digital preservation community on preservation tools in one place." This post has some info on it too.
  2. Foss4lib has some good info on open source systems that are particularly targeted at libraries.
  3. While these are both neat projects, I think in practice, one often needs to go to the website for the tool to find the most up to date information about it.
